Kids Blog
Classroom teachers have begun having their students journal or "blog" before, during and after their experiences at STARBASE in order to prepare for, reinforce and assess student learning. "Kids blog" is a powerful teaching and learning tool, and kids seem to really love writing, as evidenced below. While a variety of leading questions may be used, we've found that open-ended questions, such as asking students to write about their day, what they learned, and what may have surprised them yield writing rich with information.
