Ice Cube Races

What do you need?

  • 5 Ice Cubes (all the same size)
  • A piece of white, black, red, blue, and green construction paper
  • Watch or timer

What's Next?

1. Find a sunny spot and lay out the paper.

2. Place 1 ice cube in the center of each paper and see which colors melt the ice cube fastest and which melt slowest. You can use a timer if you have one to figure out how long they take to melt.
