STARBASE MINNESOTA – DULUTH

STARBASE Duluth Summer Program: STARBASE Explorers

Our STARBASE Explorers summer camp program incorporates new and exciting STEM content to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Students will get hands-on with rocket engineering, CAD design, GPS navigation, rover programming, earth science investigation, and exploration. The content for our summer camp is an entirely separate curriculum from our school-year program.

As students dive into exploring the amazing world of STEM, they will also take away important skills we embed into every activity including perseverance, teamwork, respect, and creativity. Students also gain real-world knowledge about exciting careers in the STEM fields in our region and beyond.

The program is intended for children entering grades 4 through 6 in the Fall of 2026. Limit one session, per child, per summer. Children may participate twice over the course of two different summers. Students from any school, and any district are welcome to register for summer camp.

Code Quest camp is a continuing STEM experience for students in Grades 7 and 8. Students will particpate in a variety of hands-on projects such as CAD design, Arduino coding, LED light programming, 3D printing, laser cutting and more! All activities will culminate in a special project that students will take home at the end of their session.

Sessions run for four days, five hours a day. Sessions run from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM daily.

GENERAL REGISTRATION for Summer 2026 camps will open Monday, March 2, 2026.
