About STARBASE Camps!

Our summer camps are designed for students with a wide range of interests and experience levels—including those who are still discovering their curiosity in STEM. The program is thoughtfully designed to be engaging, hands‑on, and academically enriching. Unlike camps that focus primarily on unstructured free play, our camp offers a more structured and guided experience. Our engineers dive into projects, collaborate with peers (LOTS of teamwork!) and build problem‑solving skills. The days are fun and interactive, and they also include focused learning and meaningful challenges, indoors and out. This camp is a great fit for students who enjoy team-centric, hands‑on learning and are excited to try new things.

STARBASE Explorers (Grades 4-6)

Our STARBASE Explorers summer camp program incorporates new and exciting STEM content to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Students will get hands-on with rocket engineering, CAD design, GPS navigation, rover programming, earth science investigation, and exploration. The content for our summer camp is an entirely separate curriculum from our school-year program.

The program is intended for children entering grades 4 through 6 in the Fall of 2026. Limit one session, per child, per summer. Children may participate twice over the course of two different summers. Students from any school, and any district are welcome to register for summer camp.

Sessions run for four days, five hours a day. Sessions run from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM daily.

Summer Explorer Session dates:

Session 1: June 22-25
Session 2: June 29- July 2
Session 3: July 6-9
Session 4: July 13-16
Session 5: July 20-23

Camp Code Quest (Grades 7&8)

Camp Code Quest camp is a continuing STEM experience for students in Grades 7 and 8.

Students will particpate in a variety of hands-on projects such as CAD design, Arduino coding, LED light programming, 3D printing, laser cutting and more! All activities will culminate in a special project that students will take home at the end of their session. Students will engage with real-world STEM professionals who will be acting as mentors during the camp! They will hear directly from these professionals about their careers in STEM and skills needed to succeed. If your student has participated in one of the last two Code Quest camps, the content and project will remain the same.

Code Quest sessions run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
