Industry Volunteers

STARBASE Minnesota – Duluth STEM Professionals Opportunities

As a STEM Professional, you are an expert in your field and have a wealth of knowledge to share with our students. They are eager to learn about cutting edge technologies in a variety of fields including aviation, technology, health care, scientific research, engineering and so much more!

Launch Ceremony Speaker

Participate in a 30-minute Q&A session for our end of program graduation events. Our presentation outlines will guide you through it and provide you with the questions in advance so you know what to anticipate. Our volunteer coordinator will provide you everything you need to know in advance to make your experience relevant and impactful.

Summer Camp Presenter

During our summer program, and scheduled Scientist and Engineer Events, community partners like you, from a wide range of local and regional industries will have the opportunity to showcase the innovative science and technology that is being performed in your field. Your real-world careers come to life in these hands-on, informative mini-sessions here at our STARBASE facility.

Industry or Corporate Tour

Periodically throughout the year, students have an opportunity to visit off-site STEM corporations for a first-hand look at how STEM is used every day in real-world careers. Your corporation can highlight featured STEM careers within your corporation and provide students with an inside look at how your organization is innovating STEM in our community.

If you are interested in hosting a tour for STARBASE students, please contact Charity Johnson at (218) 788-7288.
