What is STARBASE Advanced?

After-school club that extends the STARBASE experience
Provides a variety of STEM activities, engineering challenges, and hands-on lessons to middle schoolers in Duluth, MN
Connecting middle school students with STEM professionals in the community

STEM Coaches

Have a career in a STEM field
Work with our students on their activities by guiding problem solving skills to handing out supplies
Provide enthusiam about STEM, learning, and mentoring
Sessions run from early October through late January, once a week
- We highly recommend that coaches attend a majority of sessions to foster consistent connections with students

Once you have applied, you will be contacted by STARBASE to complete a background check through the 148th Fighter Wing, go through the training slides, and sign up for sessions!
