STARBASE Minnesota has served and inspired over 80,000 Twin Cities youth. Through a combination of exciting curriculum, a state-of-the-art and technology-rich learning environment, and a top-notch team of professional licensed educators who collectively teach over 3500 academically and culturally diverse students each year, STARBASE has a strong track-record of success and an “educational lab” environment that is a must-see for ANYONE entering an education career.

STARBASE is excited to open its doors to colleges and universities’ pre-service educators to observe and see educational research and theory put into practice by participating in a wide range of field-experiences. As one pre-service teacher stated, “there is simply no equivalent to what is happening at STARBASE Minnesota”.

The staff and curriculum are fantastic, the activities are really fun, and the students get to use a variety of software and technology that they aren't normally exposed to, like using different types of robots, playing around with CAD software, and building their own rockets.

Students' ability to learn outside of the traditional classroom setting and curriculum is incredibly valuable. The equipment at STARBASE (Ozobots, rockets, AR/VR, 3D printers) aren't found in every school, so this enables students from all backgrounds to gain exposure to unique (and fun!) STEM equipment.
