STARBASE 2.0 Mentoring Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a STARBASE 2.0 mentor to 6-8th graders who attend after-school programs at E-STEM Middle School, a St. Paul public school located in Woodbury!  We are so excited for you to connect and work with the 6-8th grade students in an after-school program with a variety of activities, bringing “real-world” STEM perspective and inspiration in future STEM careers. 

Please complete and submit the following application that includes information about you, your interests and information for a required background check. You will be contacted by STARBASE regarding your application with next steps and other important information for you as a mentor. 

An orientation and training will be held for 2.0 Mentors. Date and time TBD.

My work and/or experience involves STEM (science, technology, engineering, and/or math). - This is not required.
The STARBASE 2.0 program will meet on Thursdays* February 17-May 5 2022, 3:15-5:00pm at E-STEM Middle School in Woodbury (Feb 17, 24, Mar 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Apr 14, 21, 28, May 5 TBD). Since consistency is important in a mentoring relationship, especially with middle school students, are you able to commit to attending the majority of these scheduled dates?
If you have any constraints on time that you are previously aware of, please explain.
