Schools cannot do it alone. They need committed partners like STARBASE Minnesota to enrich and enhance the educational experience with resources and experiences that are beyond the school walls. We provide exciting and immersive, evidence-based STEM programming onsite to over 45 Twin Cities schools annually and partner with MN Department of Education to provide “STARBASE Destination Mars” STEM Kit curriculum to 35,000 5th graders in over 440 Minnesota schools each year. All STARBASE programs are free to schools. In our goal to impact many thousands more students, we partner with area colleges and universities to help prepare and inspire the next generation of educators.
Our country is committed to the well-being of its people. Department of Defense (DoD) STARBASE is a strategic partner in the socio-economic health and vitality of its communities. Since opening in 1993 the Minnesota Air National Guard has provided a beautiful, state-of-the-art educational facility for our operations and hundreds of volunteers who support and participate in STARBASE programs.
